Our Team

Low Jin Wu is a capital markets professional with more than a decade of experience across institutional equities, equity research, business development and corporate access.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and has built his career across both the buy-side and sell-side, giving him a well-rounded perspective of the investment ecosystem and the factors that drive investor decision-making.

He has serviced more than 30 institutional funds across government-linked and non-government-linked organisations, working closely with fund managers, analysts, corporate management teams and institutional investors.

During his time in equity research, he was recognised as a Tier 1-ranked sell-side analyst by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), one of Malaysia's largest institutional investors.

Prior to founding Vertical Value Strategy, he held senior roles in the Malaysian capital markets industry, most recently as Head of Institutional Equities at Apex Securities Berhad, where he led institutional client coverage, investor engagement and corporate access initiatives.
